A round up of this week’s crime across the FSU campus

Odd Scent

On Nov. 1 at 12:15 p.m., there was a report of a smell of smoke at the West Campus Apartments. Investigation revealed it was a motor furnace that was burned out.

Personal Injury Accident

On Oct. 31 at 8:45 p.m., officers assisted city police with a personal injury accident on Ferris Drive near 205th Ave. One vehicle had went off of the road.

Three Car Crash

On Nov. 2 at 6:10 p.m., officers investigated a three car crash that occurred on State Street south of South Street. One driver was ticketed for causing the crash.

Trespassing in the Rock

On Nov. 4 at 12:15 a.m., officers responded to a trespassing complaint at the Rock Café. The student was identified, escorted out, and referred to the Office of Student Conduct.

Marijuana Complaint

On Nov. at 5:45 p.m., officers responded to a marijuana complaint in Ward Hall. Suspect was identified and lodged in the County Jail.

Disorderly Student

On Oct. 31 at 12:01 a.m., there was a report of a disorderly student near Masselink Hall. Subject was identified a block away from campus by the city police and was ticketed for Minor in Possession (MIP).

Stolen Instrument

On Nov. 2 at 3 p.m., there was a report of a theft complaint in the quad. The victim laid his trumpet near the clock tower. When he returned it was gone.

Stalking Complaint

On Nov. 2 at 8:50 a.m., there was a report of a stalking complaint. Victim reports having a person follow her into her classrooms. Investigation continues.

Battle of the Suite Mates

On Oct. 30 at 4:30 p.m., there was a report of a civil dispute between suite mates in Ward Hall.

Wrong Place, Wrong Time

On Nov. 1 at 5:15 a.m., officers discovered subjects sleeping in a vehicle in Lot 5. One subject was ticketed for MIP. Both subjects were escorted into Bond Hall.

Intoxicated Females

On Oct. 29 at 10:15 p.m., intoxicated females were located at the Wink Arena during the Autumn Alive concert. The females were ticketed for MIP and escorted out.

Civil Dispute

On Oct. 30 at 12:30 a.m., there was a report of a boyfriend and girlfriend dispute at Pickell Hall. The two subjects were identified, ticketed for MIP, and separated.

MIP in Taggart

On Oct. 30 at 2 a.m., there was a report of an intoxicated student in Taggart Hall. Subject was ticketed for MIP.

MIP in Travis

On Oct 31 at 2:10 a.m., there was a report of an intoxicated student in Travis Hall. Subject was ticketed for MIP.

Ticket Totals

From Oct. 29 through Nov. 4, the department of public safety identified 452 violators. Each violator was ticketed for a total of $7, 850. Actual amount depends on whether the ticket was paid, voided, or reduced.
