Snyder previously served as CEO and Chairman of Gateway, Inc. Brian Calley is running for Lieutenant Governor as Snyder’s running mate.

Jocelyn Benson (D) Law Professor, Wayne State University
Benson served as Voting Rights Policy Coordinator of the Harvard Civil Rights Project for three years. She published a book called “State Secretaries of State: Guardians of the Democratic Process.”
Ruth Johnson (R) Oakland County Clerk/Register of Deeds
Johnson served in the Michigan House of Representatives for six years. She was elected Oakland County Clerk/Register of Deeds in 2004 and serves as the Chief Elections Official for Oakland County.
Attorney General
David Leyton (D) Genessee County Prosecuting Attorney
Leyton served on the Flint Township Board of Trustees for 12 years. He also serves on the Board of Directors at the Child Advocacy Center.
Bill Schuette (R) Senior Counsel, Warner Norcross & Judd LLP
Schuette served as a judge on the Michigan Court of Appeals for six years. He formerly served on the Michigan Senate and served as the Director of the Department of Agriculture.
