Two-car collision

Jan. 26 at 6:25 p.m., a two-car accident occurred on Family Drive at Ferris Drive. A car ran into the back of another car stopped at a stop sign. The second vehicle in the incident was ticketed.

Ripped off XBOX

Jan. 24 at 5:45 p.m., there was a report of stolen property from Merrill Hall. An XBOX was taken along with money and clothing. The investigation continues.

Marijuana complaint

Jan. 26 at 2:06 a.m., there was a marijuana complaint in Brophy Hall. The investigation on that incident continues.

One-car crash

Jan. 24 at 11:15 a.m., officers assisted the sheriff’s department on a one-car crash that occurred on 205th Avenue at 15 Mile Road. An east bound vehicle slid through the intersection into a ditch.

Found cell phone

Jan. 24 at 2:15 p.m., a cell phone was turned into the office at FLITE. The property was found and returned to the owner.

Another marijuana complaint

Jan. 24 at 11:30 p.m., there was a marijuana complaint in Merrill Hall. The suspect was referred to the Office of Student Conduct.

Burning smell

Jan. 23 at 3:40 p.m., there was a marijuana complaint in Brophy Hall. Officers assisted hall staff concerning a burning marijuana smell in the hall.

Holiday Inn damage

Jan. 22 at 3:30 a.m., there was a report of damaged property at the Holiday Inn. The fire extinguisher cabinet was damaged on the first floor.

Disorderly subject

Jan. 22 at 2:50 a.m., there was a report of a disorderly subject at Bond Hall. The subject was located and removed from the building.

Hit and run

Jan. 22 at 6:30 p.m., a hit and run accident occurred in Lot 64. There was damage done to the victim’s parked car.

Brawl near the street

Jan. 23 at 2:45 a.m., officers assisted the sheriff’s department where a fight occurred at Northland Drive on Arthur Road.

Intoxicated driver

Jan. 21 at 3:25 a.m., officers located a vehicle that ran off the road on Knollview Drive by McNerney Hall. The driver was found to be intoxicated and lodged in the county jail for an OWI.

Ticket Totals: From Jan. 20 through the 26, the Department of Public Safety identified 395 violators. Each violator was ticketed for a total of $6,530. Actual amount depends on whether the ticket was paid, voided or reduced. n
