Old Jail Yard Show

The Old Jail Yard Show will be arriving soon. This is a chance to donate gently-used yard sale items in advance. The event will take place from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. on May 28 across from the Mecosta County Sheriff’s Department. All proceeds support the Old Jail. Catch-a-Fish Grant-a-Wish Fishing Tournament

On June 4 between 8 a.m. – 12 p.m., the Catch-a-Fish Grant-a-Wish Fishing Tournament will be held in Hemlock Park. The event will feature face painting, food, a clown and a raffle drawing for prizes. Guests can register at the CVB Convention and Visitors Bureau. The first 50 registered will receive free t-shirts. No fishing license required. DTE Cherry Royale Parade

On July 9, the Alumni Association will host the DTE Cherry Royale Parade. The Parade will feature the Bulldog mascot. DTE Cherry Royale Parade will take place at 11:15 a.m. in Traverse City. For more information, contact Amy Packard at packarda@nullferris.edu or ext. 2345.

Detroit Tigers Game

The Ferris State Alumni Association invites students and community members to watch the Detroit Tigers take on the Chicago White Sox at Comerica Park in Downtown Detroit. The event will be from 2:45 – 7 p.m. July 16. There will be a pre-game picnic and the game will begin at 4:10 p.m. Tickets are $25 per person. West Michigan White Caps

On August 7, Ferris State alumni and friends at Fifth Third Ballpark will be watching the West Michigan Whitecaps battle the Midland Loons. The game will cost $15/per adult and $8/per child.
