A round-up of this week’s crime across the FSU campus

MIP at Miller

Jan. 22 at 12:45 a.m., officers assisted hall staff at Miller Hall concerning loud subjects. Four people were ticketed for MIP.

Marijuana complaint

Jan. 22 at 3:10 a.m., officers assisted hall staff at Hallisy Hall for a marijuana complaint. Two subjects were ticketed MIP.

Domestic assault

Jan. 19 at 8:15 p.m., report of a civil complaint at the Holiday Inn. Two people had a dispute over a minor. One subject was lodged in county jail for domestic assault.

Car crash

Jan. 17 at 12:05 p.m., two car crash in Lot 4.

Possession of marijuana

Jan. 18 at 2:45 a.m., officers assisted hall staff at Miller Hall concerning marijuana. Two subjects were referred to the Office of Student Conduct and charged with possession of marijuana.

Illegal U-turn

Jan. 19 at 1:15 a.m., officers stopped a vehicle on State Street near Ferris Drive for an illegal U-turn. One subject was lodged in county jail for possession of marijuana.

More marijuana

Jan. 19 at 11:40 p.m., while asserting arrest warrant at Travis Hall, officers came in contact with subject with possession of marijuana. Subject was lodged in county jail for possession.

Even more marijuana

Jan. 20 at 5:05 p.m., officers assisted city police with traffic stop at Rust Avenue near State Street. One subject was transported to county jail.

Ticket Totals: From Jan. 17 through the 20, the Department of Public Safety identified 322 violators. Each violator was ticketed for a total of $5,230. Actual amount depends on whether the ticket was paid, voided or reduced. n
