Harassment complaint

On Nov. 8 at 5 p.m., officers received information regarding a harassment complaint in Merrill Hall. The victim was being harassed by a female with whom he had previously had relationship. The suspect was ordered to leave the victim alone.

Lot 66 theft

On Nov. 13 at 5:30 p.m., there was a report of a theft from a vehicle in Lot 66. The victim said the vehicle’s cover had been stolen earlier in the day.

No headlights

On Nov. 12 at 9:45 p.m., officers stopped a vehicle on Northland Drive for driving without its headlights on. The investigation revealed subjects in possession of marijuana. One subject was lodged in the county jail for possession of marijuana.

Marijuana complaint

On Nov. 13 at 11:20 p.m., officers assisted Pickell Hall staff with a marijuana complaint. Three subjects were lodged in the county jail for possession of marijuana.

Damaged wall

On Nov. 11 at 2:30 p.m., there was a report of a damaged wall in East Campus Suites. The investigation is continuing.

Defective equipment

On Nov. 11 at 10:30 p.m., officers stopped a vehicle on State Street near Locust Street for defective equipment. The driver was found to be intoxicated and was lodged in the county jail.

Intoxicated driver

On Nov. 12 at 1:45 a.m., officers stopped a vehicle on State Street near Maple Street. The driver was found to be intoxicated and was lodged in the county jail.

Window damaged

On Nov. 8 at 9:15 p.m., there was report of a window damaged in Clark Hall. The investigation is continuing.

Suspicious situations

On Nov. 9 at 10:30 p.m., officers investigated a suspicious situation in Lot 3. Three subjects were ticketed for MIP and referred to the office of student conduct.

Single-car crash

On Nov. 10 at 3:20 a.m., officers assisted the sheriff’s department with a single-car crash at 18 Mile Road and 175th Ave. The driver was ticketed for violating basic speed laws.

Possession of marijuana

On Nov. 8 at 10:30 p.m., officers assisted Travis Hall staff with a marijuana complaint. One subject was ticketed for MIP, and a warrant request was sent to the prosecutor’s office for possession of marijuana.

Officers assist

On Nov. 9 at 2:55 a.m., officers assisted city police with a fraud complaint at the E-Z Mart gas station on State Street. One subject was lodged in the county jail.

Lot 3 damage

On Nov. 10 at 1:50 p.m., there was report of a vehicle damaged in Lot 3. The passenger side door had been kicked by an unknown person.

Suspicious persons

On Nov. 7 at 7:45 p.m., officers investigated a suspicious situation in Lot 47. One subject was lodged in the county jail for possession of marijuana. Three subjects were referred to the office of student conduct.

Stolen bike

On Nov. 8 at 9 a.m., there was a report of a bicycle stolen from Finch Court.

Stolen cell phone

On Nov. 7 at 3:15 p.m., there was a report of a cell phone stolen from the lobby of Hallisy Hall.

Ticket Totals: From Nov. 7 to 14, the Department of Public Safety reported 390 violations. Each violator was ticketed for a total of $6,760. The actual amount depends on if the ticket was paid, voided or reduced.
