Skate party
Ferris’ Black Greek Council will be holding their annual skating party this week at the Big Rapids Roller Rink. The price is $5, including a skate rental, and the proceeds go to breast cancer research and awareness. Students are encouraged to drop by the rink Thursday, Oct. 20, from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. to take part in the event.

Tailgate picnic
Before the football game this weekend, Ferris’ Office of Housing and Residence Life, in collaboration with dining services, will be hosting a resident appreciation tailgate picnic. This event is free to on-campus residents and meal plan holders. Students must present their Ferris ID in order to get in, and the first 500 students will receive official game-day long sleeve t-shirts. The picnic will run from 11:30 a.m. until kickoff at 1 p.m. on Top Taggert Field.

Debate watch
Ferris’ Political Engagement Project will be hosting a watch party for the final Trump/Clinton presidential debate Wednesday, Oct. 19. The viewing will be held in IRC 109 starting at 8:30 p.m. and will offer free food and drinks to those in attendance, as well as an opportunity to win prizes.
