Nov. 10, 4 p.m. officers responded to a two-vehicle accident in Lot 1.

Fire in the hole
Nov. 10, 6:30 p.m. officers responded to a vehicle fire in Lot 36.

Run, run, run
Nov. 11, 8:55 p.m. officers assisted the Sherriff’s Department with a vehicle fleeing and eluding in the downtown Big Rapids area. When the vehicle eventually stopped, three males bailed out of the vehicle and attempted to run from the police. The individuals were apprehended and all three were jailed on multiple counts.

You’ve been warned
Nov. 12, 1:20 a.m. officers stopped a vehicle on Maple Street near Warren Avenue for defective equipment. The driver, a non-student, was found to be a minor in possession (MIP). The alcohol was confiscated and a warning was issued.

Suspension
Nov. 12, 2:10 a.m. officers stopped a vehicle on State Street near Knollview Drive for defective equipment. The driver was found to be in possession of a suspended license and was ticketed.

Open season
Nov. 12, 9:15 a.m. officers responded to a report of a damaged vehicle near the Heavy Equipment Center. Evidence indicated that a deer had run into the parked car and caused damage.

Buds in Bond
Nov. 13, 1 a.m. officers responded to a report of marijuana in Bond Hall. One individual was identified and ticketed.

Street Fighter II
Nov. 13, 12:55 p.m. officers made contact with two females arguing on the corner of Maple Street and South Michigan Avenue. One was served an MIP for consumption and referred to the Office of Student Conduct.

No one was harmed
Nov. 13, 8:55 p.m., officers responded to an assault complaint in Bond Hall. An investigation revealed a couple that had been arguing. Both were referred to the Office of Student Conduct but neither had any indication of injuries.

Clark’s kush
Nov. 14, 7:35 p.m. officers responded to a marijuana complaint in Clark Hall. No contraband was found and the situation was handled by housing.

Admitted guilt
Nov. 14, 9:40 p.m. officers responded to a report of marijuana in Cramer Hall. No contraband was found but four students were referred to the Office of Student Conduct for admitted use of an illegal substance.

Turn down for what
Nov. 14, 11:10 p.m., officers responded to a noise complaint in Bond Hall. The occupant was contacted, asked to turn the noise down and was referred to the Office of Student Conduct.

McStoney
Nov. 15, 1:10 a.m. officers responded to a marijuana complaint in McNerny Hall. One individual was identified and ticketed for possession.

Leave me alone
Nov. 15, 4:55 p.m. officers responded to a harassment complaint in Travis Hall. A student was receiving unwanted texts from an out-of-state unknown subject.

Assault in West Campus
Nov. 15, 8:45 p.m. officers responded to a noise complaint in the West Campus Apartments. A passerby reported seeing a female outside the residence crying. The victim reported having a verbal argument with an acquaintance after which the acquaintance struck her on the face. The officers identified a male student as the suspect. The investigation is ongoing but the victim does not want to press charges.

Merry Jane
Nov. 15, 10:10 p.m. officers responded to a report of marijuana in Merril Hall. Alcohol was recovered during a room search and the student(s) involved were referred to the Office of Student Conduct.

Separate
Nov. 15, 10:55 p.m. officers responded to a harassment complaint in Brophy Hall. A student was receiving unwanted texts from her ex-boyfriend. The individuals were told to leave each other alone.
