What a day it will be at Hemlock Park during the Labor Day weekend.
The 41st Annual Arts and Crafts Festival will begin Monday, Sept. 7 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Crafts from woodwork to pottery, plants to dog treats, wreaths to jams, salsa to knittings, quilts to paints, incense to carvings, yard art to soap, candles to baskets, and jewelry to ornaments.
It looks like a splendid variety of arts and crafts to shop for. I went last year and it was beautiful weather for a day in the park. People were out walking around, talking, and shopping galore.
It’s great to see all of the crafts these artists work hard to make. I even bought some homemade décor myself last year.
Don’t worry if you happen to get hungry during this event, concession stands were set up last year and boy, were the hotdogs and elephant ears delicious. I also bought cookies and muffins from a bake sale going on as well.
An ATM was also available for people last year, so in case you forget to bring cash, have your card handy for the ATM machine.
