Damaged Bicycle
On Jan. 13 at 11:40 a.m., there was a report of bicycle damage. The bicycle was parked at a bike rack at the SE corner of South Bond when an unknown person knocked the bike over and stomped on the wheel. No suspects.
Two-Car Accident
On Jan. 12 at 10:20 a.m., there was a two-car accident in Lot 39.
Stolen Backpack
On Jan. 12 at 2:30 p.m., there was a report of a stolen backpack from the Rock Café.
Funny Scent
On Jan. 11 at 7:30 p.m., officers assisted hall staff at Clark Hall on a marijuana complaint. Two subjects were identified and referred to the Office of Student Conduct.
Violating Space
On Jan. 12 at 1:30 a.m., there was a report of a female being inappropriately touched in the campus apartments. The suspect was identified and a warrant request was forwarded to the prosecutor’s office. The suspect has been suspended by the University.
Larceny Complaint
On Jan. 7 at 4 p.m., officers responded to a larceny complaint at Vandercook Hall. Money was stolen and the suspect was identified. The money was returned and the case was forwarded to the prosecutor’s office and to the Office of Student Conduct.
Marijuana Complaint
On Jan. 10 at 11:40 p.m., officers responded to a marijuana complaint in Vandercook Hall. The suspect was identified. He was lodged in the County Jail and ticketed for Minor in Possession (MIP).
Driving Suspended
On Jan. 7 at 2:30 p.m., officers stopped a vehicle on State Street for disregarding a red light. The driver had a suspended license and was ticketed for the same.
Suspicious Person
On Jan. 7 at 3:20 a.m., officers requested to check the expressway North of Perry Street for a person on foot. The subject was not located.
Stolen Certificate
On Jan. 6 at 4:50 p.m., there was a report of a larceny complaint in Cramer Hall. The subject reported a gift certificate taken from her room. No suspects.
Intoxicated Driver
On Dec. 24 at 9:45 p.m., officers stopped a vehicle for failure to stop at a red light on Perry Street and Ferris Drive. The driver was intoxicated and was lodged in the county jail.
Ticket Totals
From Jan. 1 to the 14, the Department of Public Safety identified 264 violators. Each violator was ticketed for a total of $4,320. Actual amount depends on whether the ticket was paid, voided, or reduced.
