A round up of this week’s crime across the FSU campus

Marijuana Use

On Jan. 20 at 11:15 p.m., there was a report of a subject using marijuana in Lot 4. Three subjects were referred to the Office of Student Conduct.

Missing Purse

On Jan. 19 at 3:30 p.m., there was a report of theft complaint at the Rock Café. A purse was stolen from a cloak room.

Marijuana Complaint

On Jan. 18 at 11:10 p.m., officers assisted hall staff with a marijuana complaint in McNerny Hall. Matters were referred to the hall staff to handle.

Someone Else’s Belongings

On Jan. 18 at 5:15 p.m., officers received a civil complaint about two students in Clark Hall. Clothing was loaned and not returned. The student later received some items.

MIP

On Jan. 17 at 2:20 a.m., officers stopped a vehicle on Campus Drive for failure to stop at a sign. The passenger was found to be a Minor in Possion (MIP) and was ticketed for the same.

Suspended License

On Jan. 15 at 3 p.m., officers stopped a vehicle on Ferris Drive for failure to stop at sign. The driver’s license was suspended and was ticketed for the same.

Hit and Run

On Jan. 14 at 12:25 p.m., there was a report of a hit and run in Lot 4.

Suspicious Door Damage

On Jan. 14 at 10:20 a.m., there was a report of vehicle damage to a passenger door in Lot 2.

Accidents Happen

On Jan. 14 at 1:12 p.m., there was a two car accident in Lot 68.

Stolen Camera

On Jan. 14 at 7 p.m., there was a report of a camera stolen from a room in Cramer Hall. Investigation still continues.

Disorderly Complaint

On Jan. 14 at 7:15 p.m., there was a report of a disorderly complaint at the Rock Café. The behavior concerned a stolen backpack. One party accused the other of theft. They were referred to the Office of Student Conduct.

Ticket Totals

From Jan. 15 to the 21, the department of public safety identified 525 violators. Each violator was ticketed for a total of $8,950. Actual amount depends on whether each ticket was paid, voided, or reduced.
