Stolen iPod

On Feb. 10 at 9 p.m., there was a report of a stolen iPod from the Rock Café.

Reckless Driving

On Feb. 11 at 12:40 a.m., officers stopped a car for wreck less driving in Lot 28. The driver was ticketed for careless driving and possession of marijuana.

Disorderly Persons

On Feb. 11 at 2:20 a.m., there was a report of disorderly persons in Taggart Hall. Two subjects were ticketed for MIP and referred to the Office of Student Conduct.

Vanished Vending

On Feb. 9 at 1:30 p.m., there was a report of theft from vending machines in the Alumni, Auto center, and Plastics buildings. No suspects.

Auto Theft

On Feb. 5 at 5 p.m., there was a report of theft from an automobile complaint in Lot 4. No suspects.

Missing Plates

On Feb. 7 at 6:45 p.m., there was a report of a stolen license plate in Lot 47.

Marijuana Complaint

On Feb. 7 at 10 p.m., there was a report of marijuana complaint in Bond Hall. One subject was referred to the Office of Student Conduct.

Disturbing Smell

On Feb. 6 at 4:20 p.m., there was a report of marijuana complaint in Ward Hall. Two subjects were referred to the Office of Student Conduct.

Intoxicated Subject

On Feb. 7 at 1:15 a.m., there was a report of an intoxicated subject in Bond Hall. On subject was ticketed for MIP.

Restricted License

On Feb. 6 at 1:20 a.m., officers did a traffic stop on Michigan Ave near Oak Street for defective equipment. Two subjects were ticketed for MIP. The driver was ticketed for driving on a restricted license.

Parking Notice

The Department of Public Safety sent out campus wide emails to inform students and other drivers to be aware of the signs in parking lots around campus and to make sure that you know where and where not to park. If you are parked in an incorrect location you may be issued a ticket. To prevent this, please pay attention to the signs and notice that changes have been made to some parking lots which may include Lot 2, 27, 39, and 19.

Ticket Totals

From Feb. 4 through the 11, the Department of Public Safety identified 404 violators. Each violator was ticketed for a total of $6,930. Actual amount depends on whether the ticket was paid, voided, or reduced.
