Two-car Accident

On Feb 24 at 9:55 a.m., there was a two-car accident near the West Building. A car backed out and hit another vehicle.

Bumper Cars

On Feb 24 at 10 a.m., there was a two car accident in Lot 38. A vehicle struck another parked vehicle.

Club Commotion

On Feb 25 at 2:25 a.m., officers assisted the Sheriff’s Department with a large fight at the Odyssey.

Stolen Items

On Feb 22 at 7:20 p.m., there was a report of larceny from a vehicle complaint in Lot 23.

Marijuana Complaint

On Feb 23 at 12:10 a.m., officers assisted hall staff at Cramer Hall with a marijuana complaint. A warrant request was sent to the prosecutor’s office for two subjects. Three people were referred to the Office of Student Conduct.

Suspicious Smell

On Feb 24 at 1:20 a.m., officers assisted hall staff at Clark Hall with a marijuana complaint. One subject was referred to the Office of Student Conduct.

Blind Spot

On Feb 20 at 12:20 p.m., there was a two vehicle accident in Lot 39. A bus backed into a parked car.

Hit and Run

On Feb 19 at 6:20 a.m., there was a report of a hit and run in Lot 6.

Uncooperative person

On Feb 19 at 9:50 p.m., officers assisted staff at the Student Recreation Center with a subject refusing to leave. The person was removed from the building.

Disorderly People

On Feb 21 at 9:30 p.m., officers assisted hall staff at Bond Hall with disorderly subjects. The matter was referred to the Office of Student Conduct.

Intoxicated Driver

On Feb 20 at 1:50 a.m., a vehicle was stopped on Ferris Drive for failure to stop at a stop sign. The driver was intoxicated and lodged in the county jail for OWI.

MIP in Vandercook

On Feb 21 at 1:20 a.m., there was a report of an intoxicated subject in Vandercook Hall. The subject was ticketed for MIP.

Larceny Complaint

On Feb 18 at 4:15 p.m., there was a report of larceny from and automobile complaint in Lot 47.

Young Love Gone Bad

On Feb 18 at 9 p.m., there was a report of a harassment complaint. The subject’s ex-boyfriend was harassing her. The two parties were told to leave each other alone.

Ticket Totals

From Feb 19 through Mar 1, the Department of Public Safety identified 440 violators. Each violator was ticketed for the total of $7,280. Actual amount depends on whether the ticket was paid, voided, or reduced. n
