The search for a new Athletics Director at Ferris has come to an end as Michigan native Perk Weisenburger has been tabbed to replace retired Tom Kirinovic.
Weisenburger served as the Associate Athletics Director for External Operations at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas since 2005. He will take over the Athletics Director duties on Sept. 10.Weisenburger will be replacing current interim Athletics Director Keri Becker,who has filled in since Kirinovic retired in June.
With his appointment to the position, Weisenburger will oversee the operations of the athletic department while also getting an opportunity to work in his home state, as Weisenburger is a graduate of Central Michigan University and a Mount Pleasant native.
