Dec. 2 at 3:40 a.m., officers stopped a vehicle on Ferris Drive for a stop sign violation. The driver was ticketed for driving with a suspended license.
Dispute at Bond Hall
Nov. 30 at 10:40 p.m., officers assisted the hall staff at Bond Hall with a civil dispute between students.
Civil complaint at Robin Court
Nov. 28 at 8:25 p.m., officers responded to a civil complaint at Robin Court about child custody.
Car-pedestrian Crash
Nov. 29 at 3:10 p.m., officers assisted the city police with a car-pedestrian injury crash at State and Woodward Streets.
Driving without License
Nov. 27 at 4 p.m., officers investigated a civil dispute in Cardinal Court. One subject was arrested for driving without a license.
Domestic Complaint
Nov. 25 at 3:30 a.m., officers received a domestic assault complaint at Finch Court. A subject was lodged in the county jail.
MIP at the Gate
Nov. 27 at 12:45 a.m., officers assisted the city police with an MIP complaint at the Gate. One subject was ticketed.
Suspicious Situation
Nov. 22 at 9:30 p.m., there was a report of a suspicious situation at the Racquet Facility. One non-student was removed from the building.
Missing Juvenile
Nov. 22 at 8:10 p.m., officers assisted the Illinois Police Department in locating a missing juvenile. The juvenile was found at East Campus Apartments and turned over to his parents at the Police Department.
Outstanding Warrants
Nov. 23 at 3:30 a.m., officers stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation on Woodward near State Street. The driver was arrested for an outstanding warrant.
Smoky Situation
Nov. 21 at 5:10 p.m., there was a report of smoke in the East Campus Suites. The cause was contributed to a self-cleaning oven.
Reckless Driver
Nov 18 at 1:55 p.m., officers stopped a vehicle that was reported to be driving reckless. The vehicle was stopped near Knollview Drive. The driver was found to have a medical condition and was transported to the hospital by EMS.
Unregistered Vehicle
Nov. 19 at 4:40 a.m., a vehicle was stopped on State Street for equipment violation. The vehicle was found to be unregistered and the driver had a suspended license.
Ticket Totals: From Nov. 18 through Dec. 2, the Department of Public Safety identified 601 violators. Each violator was ticketed for a total of $9,910. Actual amount depends on whether the ticket was paid, voided, or reduced. n
