FSU student appears on Glee

FSU alum Kevin Breen will be featured on the May 24 season two finale of Glee.

“Glee was something I just sort of fell into,” said Breen.

Contacted by a booking agency, Breen said he was offered a chance to act alongside the Glee Club.

Currently a stand-up comedian, Breen studied Journalism and Technical and Professional Communication. Working as news editor and cartoonist for the Torch, Breen received the John F. McNamara award for outstanding contribution.

However, a chance trip with a girlfriend would eventually lead Breen to pursue comedy.

“She suggested we go to a comedy club, because neither of us had ever been before,” said Breen. “We went to iO Chicago and I instantly fell in love with it.”

Breen’s comedy career would take him to Phoenix, San Francisco and Los Angeles.

Breen’s performance on Glee will involve dancing and acting. Breen is optimistic and already looking forward to next season.

“It was fun to be a part of it,” said Breen. “I think there’s a good chance I’ll get booked again.”

The season two finale of Glee premieres 8 /7 c on FOX, Tues. at 9 p.m.
