On July 11, RCW General Contractor Inc. began renovations on the Big Rapids Taco Bell located on South State Street. Renovations included expanding the parking lot, redesigning the drive-thru, updating the indoor seating area and exterior, and expanding the kitchen.

This past summer, Ferris students said farewell to Pennock Hall. Built in 1967, Pennock Hall would eventually become home to Ferris’ College of Optometry. Ferris began a $164,000 parking lot project this summer where the old optometry building once stood.
