Free stuff. Opportunities to get involved on campus. A chance to meet local businesses. Even more free stuff. That’s what awaits students at this year’s Bulldog Bonanza.
Never been to the Bulldog Bonanza? You’re not alone. 87 percent of people surveyed have never gone and nearly 66 percent of the people who have gone were required to. 100 percent of those who have attended recommend going, required or not.
“[Freshmen] might have to go but it’s still a good idea to see all the RSOs and stuff to get involved in,” said Austin Bierema, sophomore in social studies education. “It was cool getting free stuff and getting to see the RSOs.”
Some students keep going back every year. Junior in radiography Alex DeLage has attended the last three events. “These past few years it’s been a lot of fun. It’s got a lot of vendors.”
Becca Jordan, a sophomore in music industry management, agrees. “It’s a great way to find things out on campus and to meet people.”
Bulldog Bonanza is Wednesday, Sept. 14 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Wink Arena.
FSUS students can pick up their Bingo cards at the Mecosta County Chamber of Commerce table the day of the Bonanza.
