Damaged vehicle

Sept. 11 at noon, a vehicle was reported damaged in Lot 3.

 

Domestic assault

Sept. 10 at 2:50 a.m., officers assisted city police in a domestic assault on Maple and Michigan Avenue.

 

Disorderly conduct

Sept. 11 at 2:30 a.m., officers assisted city police with disorderly conduct with a subject at Taco Bell.

 

Stop sign violation

Sept. 12 at 1:55 p.m., officers stopped a vehicle on Campus Drive for a stop sign violation. The driver was arrested for a probation violation and lodged in county jail.

 

Damaged desks

Sept. 12 at 10 p.m., there was a report of classroom desks damaged in the Starr Building. Investigation continues.

 

No license

Sept. 13 at 1:45 a.m., a vehicle was stopped on State Street near Perry. Driver was ticketed for driving without a driver’s license.

 

Red light

Sept. 12 at 2:40 a.m., a vehicle was stopped on State Street for disregarding a red light. The driver was ticketed for driving with a suspended license.

 

Stolen credit card

Sept. 10 at 10:50 p.m., there was a report of a stolen credit card from Clark Hall.

 

Marijuana complaint

Sept. 9 at 10:45 p.m., there was a marijuana complaint at Clark Hall. Two subjects were identified and sent to the office of disorderly conduct.

 

Damaging bridge

Sept. 10 at 6:50 p.m., officers assisted city police for a subject damaging the bridge at Maple Street. The subject was arrested by the city police.

Running in the road

Sept. 9 at 2:10 a.m., officers stopped a subject who ran out in front of traffic. The pedestrian was ticketed for MIP.

 

Rock Café

Sept. 9 at 11:50 p.m., officers stopped a subject in the Rock Café. The subject was intoxicated and ticketed for an MIP.

 

Open intoxicants

Sept. 10 at 12:45 a.m., officers stopped a subject at Michigan and Oak Street for possession of open intoxicants. The subject was ticketed for an MIP.

 

Disorderly subject

Sept. 11 at 1:15 a.m., officers assisted hall staff at Hallisy for a disorderly subject. One subject was ticketed for an MIP.

 

Parked vehicle

Sept. 10 at 1:20 a.m., officers encountered a vehicle in Lot 64. Five subjects were ticketed for an MIP and referred to the office of student conduct for possession of marijuana.

Squealing tires

Sept. 11 at 12:10 a.m., officers stopped a driver for squealing his tires on Cedar near State Street. The drive was intoxicated and lodged in county jail for an OWI.

 

Stolen computer

Sept. 11 at 5:05 p.m., there was a report of a computer stolen in Cramer Hall. The subject was identified and lodged in county jail.

 

Disorderly subject

Sept. 9 at 12:35 a.m., officers were sent to South Bond for a disorderly subject outside the building. One subject was ticketed for MIP.

 

Stolen petals

Sept. 7 at 8:30 p.m., there was a report of petals stolen from a bicycle outside Vandercook Hall.

 

Marijuana complaint

Sept. 7 at 6:40 p.m., officers assisted hall staff at Miller for a marijuana complaint. Four people were referred to the office of student conduct.

 

Traffic cones

Sept. 7 at 1:30 a.m., officers investigated a group of subjects removing traffic cones from the road. Two subjects were referred to the office of student conduct.

 

Ticket Totals: From Aug. 6 – 13, the Department of Public Safety identified 777 violators. Each violator was ticketed for a total of $12,575. Actual amount depends on whether the ticket was paid, voided or reduced.
