A round-up of this week’s crime across the FSU campus

Hit and run

Sept. 26 at 6 p.m., there was a hit and run in Lot 4. The front corner panel of the subject’s car was damaged.

Large party

Sept. 24 at 1:20 a.m., officers assisted city police at 100-block Sanborn with a large party.

Warrant issued

Sept. 30 at 1:15 a.m., officers assisted Sheriff Department at Warren Avenue with a warrant arrest.

Crash on State and Elm

Sept. 30 at 4:45 p.m., officers assisted City police with two car personal injury accident on State and Elm Street. One person was transported to the hospital for injuries. The driver was ticketed for causing the crash.

Marijuana complaint

Sept. 29 at 8:55 p.m., officers assisted hall staff at Clark for a marijuana complaint. A warrant request was sent to the prosecutor’s office.

Domestic violence

Oct. 2 at midnight, officers responded to Lot 3 concerning subjects arguing. One subject was lodged in county jail for domestic violence.

Trespassing

Oct. 1 at 1:20 a.m., officers assisted city police with disorderly trespassing complaint at The Gate. One subject was lodged in county jail.

Marijuana and MIPs

Oct. 2 at 9:05 p.m., officers assisted hall staff at Miller for a marijuana complaint. Three subjects were ticketed for MIP.

Another MIP

Oct. 2nd at 12:30 a.m., officers stopped two subjects in Lot 3 for being intoxicated. Both were ticketed for an MIP.

Intoxicated person on State Street

Oct. 2nd at 1:30 a.m., officers confronted an intoxicated subject on State Street near South Street. Subject ticketed MIP.

Intoxicated subject at McNerney

Oct. 2 at 3:45 a.m., officers responded to McNerney Hall for an intoxicated subject. Subject was ticketed for MIP.

Marijuana complaint at Merrill

Sept. 17 at 9:55 p.m., officers assisted hall staff at Merrill for a marijuana complaint. One subject was ticketed for MIP.

MIP at Pickell

Sept. 30 at 1:50 a.m., officers suspected an intoxicated subject near Pickell Hall. Subject was ticketed for MIP.

Destruction of property

Sept. 27 at 3:20 p.m., there was a complaint of malicious destruction of property in Lot 4. Vehicle sustained damaged to the hood and front passenger turn signal.

Hit and run at Family Video

Sept. 22 at 9:25 p.m., officers assisted city police with a hit and run in the Family Video parking lot.

Disobeying traffic

Sept. 28 at 10:15 a.m., officers stopped a vehicle in Lot 35 for disobeying traffic control device. The driver had a warrant from another county and was lodged in county jail.

Disorderly subject

Sept. 21 at 4 p.m., officers assisted the sherriff department with a disorderly subject on 14 Mile Road east of Northland Drive.

Stolen bicycle

Sept. 23 at 10:50 a.m., report of a bicycle stolen from bike rack outside Merrill Hall.

Destruction of property

Sept. 27 at 10 p.m., complaint of malicious destruction of property in Lot 4, victim’s vehicle sustained damage to the driver door.

Suspicious activity

Sept. 28 at 3:30 a.m., officers investigated suspicious activity in Lot 4, resulted in one subject trespassing on university property.

More domestic violence

Sep. 4 at 11 p.m., officers assisted City police on 3rd Avenue for domestic violence complaint, one subject was lodged in county jail.

Two-car accident

Sept. 24 at 4 p.m., officers assisted the sherriff department with a two-car accident at Perry Avenue near Wal-Mart.

Gas leak at Wal-Mart

Sept. 26 at 5 a.m., officers assisted the sheriff department at Wal-Mart for possible gas leak, investigated by the Township Fire Department.

Large fight at Woodward

Sept. 23 at 2:30 a.m., officers assisted city police with a large fight on 100 block of Woodward Avenue.

Disorder at East Campus Suites

Sept. 23 at 1:30 a.m., officers assisted housing representative in East Campus Apartments for disorderly subjects, it was handled by housing.

Smashed windshield

Sept. 25 at 12:45 a.m., vehicle damaged in Lot 4, vehicle sustained smashed windshield.

One more hit and run

Sept. 26 at 12:45 p.m., report of a hit and run in Lot 4.

Ticket Totals: From Sept. 27 through Oct. 4, the Department of Public Safety identified 538 violators. Each violator was tick­eted for a total of $8,840. Actual amount depends on whether the ticket was paid, voided or reduced.
