Damaged vehicles and disorderly people

A round-up of this week’s crime across the FSU campus

Expired plates

Oct. 17 at 11:30 p.m., officers stopped a vehicle with an expired plate on Campus Drive. The driver was found to have a suspended license.

Vehicle damaged

Oct. 10 at 4:05 p.m., there was a report of a vehicle damaged in Lot 5. The hood of the vehicle was dented.

Disorderly subject

Oct. 15 at 2:45 a.m., officers assisted City Police at Mecosta County Medical Center for a disorderly subject. The person was escorted from the building.

Stolen backpack

Oct. 14 at 5:50 p.m., there was a theft complaint at The Rock Café for a stolen backpack in the eating area.

Car tire damage

Oct. 14 at 4:50 p.m., there was a report of a vehicle damaged in Lot 61. The car tire was damaged.

Marijuana complaint

Oct. 15 at 3:20 p.m., officers assisted hall staff at Miller Hall for a marijuana complaint. Two subjects were referred to the Office of Student Conduct.

Inappropriate physical contact

Oct. 14 at 8 p.m., there was complaint of a female being inappropriately touched by a male at the sports complex. This is still under investigation.

MIP at Hallisy

Oct. 16 at 3:45 a.m., officers assisted hall staff at Hallisy. One subject was ticketed for an MIP.

Intoxicated driver

Oct. 16 at 3:40 a.m., officers conducted a traffic stop for a vehicle driving erratically on the expressway. The driver was reported intoxicated and lodged in county jail.

Another disorderly subject

Oct. 14 at 4:45 a.m., there was a report of a disorderly subject near South West Common Buildings. One subject was lodged in county jail for outstanding warrants.

MIPs on the streets

Oct. 14 at 2:15 a.m., officers observed a disorderly subject on Spring Street at State Street. Two people were ticketed for an MIP.

Vehicle damage

Oct. 13 at noon, there was a complaint of a vehicle damaged in Lot 61. The passenger’s rear quarter panel was scratched.

Damaged article

Oct. 10 at 4:55 p.m., officers assisted McNerney Hall for a report of damaged property. One subject was referred to the Office of Student Conduct and a warrant request was sent for damaging numerous articles in hall.

Breaking and entering

Oct. 11 at 3:40 a.m., officers assisted the Sherriff Department for a complaint of breaking and entering on 175th Avenue. Numerous articles of stolen property were handed over to the Sheriff’s Department.

Ticket Totals: From Oct. 11 through the 18th, the Department of Public Safety iden­ti­fied 340 violators. Each vio­la­tor was tick­eted for a total of $5,400. Actual amount depends on whether the ticket was paid, voided or reduced.
