A round-up of this week’s crime across the FSU campus

Intoxicated driver

Oct. 28 at 11:30 p.m., officers stopped a vehicle on South State and Stadium Street for failure to stop at a stop sign. The driver was intoxicated and lodged in county jail.

Sword in hall

Oct. 28 at 10 a.m., officers confiscated a sword from a student’s room in Helen Ferris. The subject was referred to the Office of Student Conduct.

MIP on the streets

Oct. 28 at 1:20 a.m., officer’s encountered an intoxicated subject on Oak and Ives Street. The subject was ticketed for an MIP.

Hit and run

Oct. 14 at 11 a.m., there was a report of a hit and run accident in Lot 37. There was damage to passenger’s rear corner of vehicle.

Damaged vehicle

Oct. 26 at 2:30 p.m., a parked vehicle was damaged in Lot 61. The driver’s side was scratched.

Suspicious situation

Oct. 26 at 9:50 p.m., officers assisted city police with a suspicious situation in Appleridge Apartments.

Intoxicated male

Oct. 29 at 1:30 a.m., officers were requested at East Campus Suites for an intoxicated male. Suspect was identified and transported to hospital for evaluation.

MIP at Pickell

Oct. 28 at 11:20 p.m., officers encountered intoxicated subjects at Pickell Hall. Subject was ticketed for an MIP.

Vehicle impounded

Oct. 28 at 1 p.m., a vehicle was impounded due to unpaid tickets.

Marijuana complaint

Oct. 28 at 4:50 p.m., there was a marijuana complaint at Miller Hall. Two subjects were referred to the Office of Student Conduct.

Marijuana use

Oct. 29 at 2:10 a.m., officers assisted staff at Travis Hall for a marijuana complaint. Two subjects were referred to the Office of Student Conduct and a warrant request was sent to the prosecutor’s office.

MIP in Lot 11

Oct. 28 at 11:20 p.m., officers encountered intoxicated subjects in Lot 11. One subject was ticketed for an MIP.

Oct. 30 at 1:25 a.m., officers encountered two subjects carrying a street sign. Both subjects were ticketed for MIP and referred to Office of Student Conduct.

Ticket Totals: From Oct. 25 through Nov. 1, the Department of Public Safety iden­ti­fied 366 vio­la­tors. Each vio­la­tor was tick­eted for a total of $6,040. Actual amount depends on whether the ticket was paid, voided or reduced.
