Marijuana complaint

Nov. 21 at 9:45 p.m., officers assisted residence hall staff with a marijuana complaint in McNerney Hall. Two students were referred to the Office of Student Conduct.

Two-car accident

Nov. 13 at 4:40 p.m., there was a report of a two-car accident in Lot 10. One vehicle struck a parked car while attempting to drive into a parking space.

Marijuana complaint

Nov. 11 at 4:00 p.m., officers assisted residence hall staff with a marijuana complaint in Clark hall. Subject was referred to the Office of Student Conduct.

Stolen PS3

Nov. 20 at 11:15 p.m., there was a report of a stolen Playstation 3 game console in Bond Hall.

Felony warrant

Nov. 15 at 4:30 p.m., officers picked up a subject in Calhoun County for a felony warrant. The subject was lodged in county jail.

Traffic light violation

Nov. 11 at 10:30 p.m., officers stopped a vehicle on State Street near Perry Avenue for a traffic light violation. Driver was ticketed for driving with a suspended license.

Threatening note

Nov. 10 at 8 a.m., officers received a harassment complaint at the Automotive Center. A threatening note was left on an employee’s desk. The case remains under investigation.

Slashed tires

Nov. 12 at 12:50 p.m., there was a report of vehicle damage in Lot 3. The tires of the vehicle were slashed.

Large fight

Nov. 13 at 3 a.m., officers assisted the sheriff’s department with a large fight at University Park Suites.

Stolen camcorder

Nov. 17 at 4:10 p.m., officers responded to a theft complaint at the Racquet and Fitness Center. Subject reported having a camcorder stolen between Nov. 8 and 16.

Ticket Totals: From Nov. 15 through 22, the Department of Public Safety identified 351 violators. Each violator was ticketed for a total of $5,530. Actual amount depends on whether the ticket was paid, voided or reduced.
