A round-up of this week’s crime across the FSU campus

Stolen property

Jan. 30 at 4 p.m., report of a stolen touch pad from Bond Hall.

Larceny complaint

Jan. 31 at 11 p.m., report of larceny of clothing in South Bond. Property was stolen on first floor in the laundry room.

Illegal entry

Jan. 30 at 9:45 p.m., report of illegal entry to resident room in Hallisy Hall, no property was taken. Subject was identified and referred to Office of Student Conduct.

Possession of marijuana

Feb. 3 at 10 p.m., officers stopped a vehicle for equipment violation on State Street near Perry Street. Driver was arrested for possession of marijuana.

Careless driving

Feb. 3 at 3:30 a.m., officers stopped a vehicle on State Street near South Street for careless driving. Driver was intoxicated and lodged in county jail for OWI.

Littering

Feb. 2 at 8:05 p.m., report of a suspicious vehicle in Lot 71, one subject was ticketed for littering.

Noise complaint

Feb. 2 at 9:15 p.m., loud noise complaint at West Campus apartments. Subjects playing musical instruments were asked to quiet down.

Damage in parking lot

Feb. 2 at 5:30 p.m., vehicle damaged in Lot 61 on driver side door, parked vehicle was damaged.

Suspended license

Feb. 3 at 7:25 p.m., officers stopped a vehicle on North Campus Drive near Lot 27 for stop sign violation and expired plate. Driver was ticketed for suspended license.

MIP

Feb. 3 at 11:30 p.m., officers approached group of people at Ives Street near Swan Building for possible MIP. Two subjects were given MIP and one subject was arrested for obstructing police.

Intoxicated and warrants

Feb. 6 at 2:50 a.m., officers stopped vehicle on State Street for defective equipment. Driver found to be intoxicated and lodged in county jail. Passenger had warrants and was also lodged in county jail.

Stolen Taco Bell property

Feb. 4 at 2:35 a.m., officers observed a person walking along State Street carrying stolen property. Property was returned to Taco Bell restaurant and subject was lodged in county jail.

More possession of marijuana

Feb. 2 at 3:35 p.m., officers suspected suspicious activity in Lot 44. Officers contacted subject in vehicle, and subject found to have possession of marijuana and was referred to the Office of Student Conduct.

Firework complaint

Feb. 5 at 3:20 a.m., officers assisted city police for a firework complaint at Oak and Michigan Street. Officers located subject who had city warrant and was lodged in county jail.

Stolen property

Feb. 6 at 8:30 p.m., report of stolen clothing and wallet were taken from unlocked locker at the Student Rec Center.

Stolen money

Feb. 3 at 9 a.m., report of property stolen from business building, $20 was taken from a woman’s jacket and black duffle bag.

Ticket Totals: From Jan. 31 through Feb. 7, the Department of Public Safety identified 396 violators. Each violator was ticketed for a total of $6,265. Actual amount depends on whether the ticket was paid, voided or reduced.
