Destruction of property

March 19 at 9 a.m., report of malicious destruction of property at Holiday Inn Hotel. A parked vehicle and ad sign was damaged; suspect was identified and warrant request was sent.

Struck parked car

March 19 at 3:20 p.m., two-vehicle accident in Lot 71.

Lot 5 accident

March 19 at 1:50 a.m., report of a two-vehicle accident in Lot 5.

Water balloon incident

March 20 at 4:30 p.m., officers responded to Bond Circle where one subject was hit by a water balloon. The suspect was identified and a warrant request was sent for assault.

Possession of marijuana

March 20 at 12:15 a.m., officer’s encountered suspicious people in Lot 28. Subject was charged with possession of marijuana and referred to the Office of Student Conduct.

Another marijuana possession

March 21 at 2:10 a.m., officers located a group of subjects in a vehicle at West Campus Apartments. Subjects were ticketed for possession of marijuana and referred to the Office of Student Conduct.

Stolen property

March 22 at 9:30 p.m., complaint of a cell phone and money stolen at SRC. Property was left on bench and gone when victim returned.

MIP in parking lot

March 23 at 2 a.m., report of an unresponsive male in Lot 4. Subject was found to be MIP.

Open intox

March 24 at 10 a.m., officers stopped a vehicle on 15 Mile Road near Katki Golf Course. Driver had open intox.

MIP at Cramer Hall

March 24 at 4 a.m., an assault report at Cramer Hall. Subjects were contacted and one person was arrested and lodged in county jail. Subject was also MIP.

Unlicensed driver

March 24 at 9:30 a.m., officers stopped a vehicle in Cramer Circle for improper plate. Driver was arrested for not having a valid drivers license.

Stop light violation

March 24 at 11:10 p.m., officers stopped a vehicle at State and Perry for stop light violation. Driver was ticketed for driving without a license.

Damage in Lot 11

March 24 at 2:45 p.m., vehicle was damaged in Lot 11. Paint from the hood of the vehicle was damaged.

Marijuana in Wink Arena

March 31 at 8:20 p.m., officers found a subject at Wink Arena with possession of marijuana. Subject referred to the Office of Student Conduct.

Stolen cell phone

March 31 at 10:25 p.m., cell phone was stolen from the Market. Suspect was identified and cell phone was recovered.

Suspended license

March 31 at 4:30 a.m., officers stopped a vehicle on State Street at Perry Avenue for known driver driving on suspended license. Driver was arrested and lodged in county jail.

Restricted driver

April 1 at 11:50 p.m., officers stopped a vehicle on State Street for driving without headlights. Driver was ticketed for driving under violations.

Fight at Crankers

April 1 at 2:40 a.m., officers assisted city police for large fight at parking lot of Crankers.

Domestic assault

April 2 at 5 p.m., report of domestic assault. Victim was near FLITE when officers located subjects leaving from Lot 27. Male victim was lodged in county jail.

Ticket Totals: From March 30 through April 3, the Department of Public Safety identified 706 violators. Each violator was ticketed for a total of $11,010. Actual amount depends on whether the ticket was paid, voided or reduced.
