MIP in music center

April 11 at 9:45 a.m., officers encountered an intoxicated student in the music center. Subject was found to be MIP.

Disorder at Holiday Inn

April 11 at 5 p.m., disorderly subject at Holiday Inn. Subject was located and removed from property.

Suspended license

April 10 at 7:20 p.m., officers stopped a vehicle for expired plate on State Street. Driver was found to be driving on a suspended license.

Missing bike

April 10 at 6 p.m., bicycle was stolen from rack outside Pickell Hall.

Traffic stop

April 11 at 2:50 a.m., officers assisted city police with traffic stop at Maple Street near Warren Avenue. Subject was lodged in county jail.

False complaint

April 10 at 3 p.m., officers investigated marijuana complaint in Lot 32. They did not find any improper activity.

Stolen property

April 10 at 9:45 p.m., wallet was stolen at Student Rec Center after being left on a bench.

Credit card fraud

April 4 at 10:30 p.m., report of a stolen credit card. Card was used in several local businesses; investigation continues.

Stealing soap

April 4 at 1:15 a.m., laundry soap was stolen from laundry room in East Campus Suites. Subject was identified and referred to Office of Student Conduct.

Breaking and entering

April 6 at 1:40 a.m., officers assisted city police on Watson Avenue for breaking and entering. One subject was arrested and lodged in county jail.

Disorder at Racquet Facility

April 4 at 5 p.m., report of disorderly subject at Racquet Facility. Subject was removed.

Missing laptop

April 3 at 8:30 a.m., a larceny complaint reported for stolen laptop from FLITE.

Party at West Campus

April 4 at 2:20 a.m., officers assisted housing staff with loud party in West Campus Apartments. Subject was referred to Office of Student Conduct.

Hit and run

April 9 at 2:15 p.m., hit and run accident in Lot 2. Suspect was ticketed for failure to report crash.

Disorderly conduct

March 31 at 7:15 p.m., officers observed a disorderly subject outside the Sports Complex. Subject was ticketed for disorderly conduct.

OWI

April 7 at 1:45 a.m., officers stopped vehicle on Perry Avenue at State Street for improper turn. Subject was intoxicated and lodged in county jail for OWI.

Drunk driver

April 4 at 4 a.m., officers stopped vehicle on South Street near Stadium Drive for defective equipment. Driver was found to be intoxicated and lodged in county jail.

Ticket Totals: From April 3 through the 10, the Department of Public Safety identified 227 violators. Each violator was ticketed for a total of $3,570. Actual amount depends on whether the ticket was paid, voided or reduced.
