A round-up of this week’s crime across the FSU campus

Hit and run

On Sept. 13 at 4:45 a.m., there was a report of a hit and run in Lot 28. No one was ticketed and police have no suspect.

Two-car accident

On Sept. 11 at 4:50 p.m., a driver pulling into a parking spot in Lot 27 struck a parked car.

Suspended license

On Sept. 11 at 11:40 p.m., an officer stopped a vehicle due to an equipment violation. Upon discovering that the driver had a suspended license, the officer issued a ticket.

Theft at the Rec Center

On Sept. 10 at 5:55 p.m., there was a report of a stolen wallet from the bench area at the Student Rec Center.

Stolen property

On Sept. 10 at 5:30 p.m., there was a report of a stolen wallet and cell phone from a bench in the Student Rec Center. Campus police would like to remind students not to leave their property unattended.

Disorderly diners

On Sept. 17 at 12:35 p.m., officers assisted staff at the Rock Café with two disorderly subjects. The subjects were removed from the building.

Slashed tires

On Sept. 16 at 3 p.m., there was a report of vehicle damage in Finch Court. Damage included slashed tires, and the evidence was sent to the crime lab. The investigation is ongoing.

Laundry lifted

On Sept. 17 at 1:45 a.m., there was a report of clothes stolen from the laundry room on the 11th floor of Cramer Hall.

Ticket totals:

From Sept. 17 through Sept. 18, the Department of Public Safety identified 178 violators. Each violator was ticketed for a total of $3,080. Actual amount depends on whether the ticket was paid, voided or reduced.
