A round-up of this week’s crime across the Ferris campus

Malicious destruction

On Sept. 30, there was a report of malicious destruction of property in Lot 4. The victim stated that her car had been damaged sometime since the previous day. The investigation is ongoing.

Stolen bike

On Sept. 29, officers were dispatched to Brophy Hall in regards to a stolen bike. The bike was recovered, and the investigation resulted in three subjects being ticketed for MIPs.

Puffing on the porch

On Sept. 27, there was a report of a subject smoking marijuana on a patio area in Finch Court. When officers arrived to the scene, the subject was gone.

Marijuana in McNerney

On Sept. 27, officers were dispatched to McNearny Hall in response to a possible marijuana smell. Officers spoke with residents. A small amount of marijuana was confiscated, and the subjects were referred to the Office of Student Conduct.

Missing copper

On Sept. 25, officers reported to General Services in response to copper stolen from the recycling bins. The investigation continues.

Ticket Totals: From Sept. 25-Oct. , the Department of Public Safety identified 369 violators. Each violator was ticketed for a total of ^6,125. Actual amount depends on whether the ticket was paid, voided or reduced.
