Marijuana complaint

On Feb. 5 at 3:30 p.m., there was a report of a marijuana complaint in Lot 37. The investigation is ongoing, and one suspect has been identified so far.

Hit and run

On Feb. 5 at 3 p.m., there was a report of a hit and run accident in Lot 27.

Fraudulent credit cards

On Feb. 4 at 5 p.m., there was a report of fraudulent credit card use. One suspect has been identified, and the investigation continues.

MJ in VC

On Feb. 4 at 5:20 p.m., officers assisted Vandercook hall staff with a marijuana complaint. One subject was referred to the Office of Student Conduct.

Slashed tires

On Feb. 4 at 1 p.m., there was a report of vehicle damage in Travis Circle. Two of the cars tires were cut.

Another hit and run

On Feb. 3 at 4:45 p.m., there was a report of a hit and run accident in Lot 4.

Catalytic convertor

On Feb. 4 at 6 p.m., there was a report of a catalytic convertor being cut off and stolen from a vehicle in Lot 28.

Marijuana at Cramer

On Feb. 2 at 1:10 a.m., officers assisted Cramer hall staff with a marijuana complaint. Two students were referred to the Office of Student Conduct.

Marijuana at Taggart

On Feb. 2 at 10:45 p.m., officers assisted Taggart hall with a marijuana complaint. One subject was referred to the Office of Student Conduct.

Suspended license

On Feb. 4 at 12:30 a.m., officers stopped a vehicle on Sports Drive for erratic driving. The driver was ticketed for driving with a suspended license.

Marijuana at Clark

On Feb. 8 at 11 p.m., officers assisted Clark hall staff with a marijuana complaint. Two students were referred to the Office of Student Conduct.

Confessions in Lot 5

On Feb. 8 at 2 p.m., there was a report of vehicle damage in Lot 5. A suspect was identified and confessed to the crime. A warrant request was sent to the prosecutor’s office.

Expired everything

On Feb. 9 at 11 p.m., officers stopped a vehicle on State Street near Fuller for an expired license plate. The driver was ticketed for driving with and expired plate and an expired license.

Smoking at Travis

On Feb. 11 at 1 a.m., officers assisted Travis hall staff with a marijuana complaint. A warrant request was sent to the prosecutor’s office for possession.

Defective equipment

On Feb. 8 at 12:05 a.m., officers stopped a vehicle on Perry Street for defective equipment. The driver was ticketed for driving with a suspended license.

Ticket Totals: From Feb. 4 through Feb. 11, the Department of Public Safety reported 319 total violations. Each violator was ticketed for a total of $5,130. The actual amount depends on whether the ticket was paid, voided or reduced.
