On Feb. 13 at 11:25 a.m., there was a report of marijuana use in West Campus Apartments. A warrant request was sent to the prosecutor’s office.
Marijuana in Travis
On Feb. 12 at 11:30 p.m., there was a report of marijuana use in Travis Hall. One subject was identified and reported to the Office of Student Conduct.
Residents dispute
On Feb. 11 at 9 a.m., there was a report of a dispute between residents in East Campus Apartments. The situation was referred to the housing staff.
Wallet left, cash stolen
On Feb. 11 at noon, a wallet was left on a table in the IRC connector and was later found with the cash removed.
Credit card fraud
On Feb. 11 at 2 p.m., there was a report of fraudulent use of a credit card. The victim reported three fraudulent charges. The investigation is continuing.
Theft at The Market
On Feb. 12 at 1 p.m., a phone case was reported stolen from The Market. A suspect was identified, and a warrant request was sent to the prosecutor’s office.Two-vehicle crash
On Feb. 8 at 12:45 p.m., there was a report of a two-vehicle crash in Lot 28. One vehicle was towing the other when the vehicles struck each other.
Hit and run
On Feb. 12 at 11:10 a.m., there was a report of a hit and run accident in Lot 35. The crash occurred sometime on Feb. 8.
Revoked license
On Feb. 13 at 11:50 p.m., officers stopped a vehicle on Maple Street for not having a visible rear license plate. The driver was arrested for driving with a revoked license and lodged in the county jail.
Expired license
On Feb. 12 at 3 a.m., officers stopped a vehicle on State Street for a broken taillight. The driver was ticketed for an expired license.
Stolen laundry card
On Feb. 11 at 5:15 p.m., there was a report of a laundry card stolen from East Campus Suites.
Two-car collision
On Feb. 14 at 5:30 p.m., there was a report of a two-car crash in Lot 4.
Another hit and run
On Feb. 14 at 5 p.m., there was a report of a hit and run accident in Lot 41.
Marijuana in Bond
On Feb. 10 at 9 p.m., there was a report of a marijuana complaint in Bond Hall. One subject was referred to the Office of Student Conduct, and a warrant request was sent to the prosecutor’s office.
Defective equipment
On Feb. 14 at 11:50 p.m., officers stopped a vehicle on Perry Street for defective equipment. The passenger in the vehicle was lodged in the county jail for possession of marijuana.
Ticket Totals: From Feb. 11 through Feb. 18, the Department of Public Safety reported 317 total violations. Each violator was ticketed for a total of $5,110. The actual amount depends on if the ticket is paid, reduced or voided.
