A round-up of this week’s crime across the Ferris campus

Marijuana paraphernalia
On Feb. 26 at 10:25 p.m., officers recovered marijuana paraphernalia near Lot 21.

Fraud complaint
On Feb. 26 at 11:50 a.m., there was a report of a fraud complaint. The victim reported unauthorized items ordered on a credit card.

Two-car crash
On Feb. 26 at 6 p.m., officers investigated a two-car crash on State Street. A car slid into a police car that was stopped for an accident.

Theft complaint
On Feb. 26 at 2:30 p.m., there was a report of a theft complaint incident which was determined to be unfounded. The situation was referred to the Office of Student Conduct.

Expired plates and license
On Feb. 25 at 11 p.m., officers stopped a vehicle on State Street near Knollview Drive for expired plates. The driver was ticketed for an expired license.

Marijuana complaint
On Feb. 22 at 12:30 a.m, there was a report of a marijuana complaint in Travis Hall. One subject was was referred to the Office of Student Conduct.

Hit and run
On Feb. 22 at 3:30 p.m., there was a report of a hit and run accident in Lot 4. The passenger side of a parked car was damaged.

Another hit and run
On Feb. 21 between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m., a hit and run accident occurred in Lot 29. The driver’s side front door of a parked car was damaged.

Disorderly subject
On Feb. 24 at 2:50 a.m., there was a report of a disorderly subject in Bond Hall. An intoxicated person injured their hand punching a wall.

Possible gas leak
On Feb. 23 at 11:50 p.m., there was a report of a possible gas leak in Vandercook Hall. The odor was determined not to be related to natural gas.

Ticket totals: From Feb. 26-Mar. 4, the Department of Public Safety reported 225 violations. Each violator was ticketed for a total of $3,480. The actual amount depends on whether the ticket is paid, voided or reduced.
