Indecent exposure
On Aug. 27 at 2:20 p.m., officers were called to FLITE regarding a disorderly subject. The suspect was identified as a 41-year-old nonstudent male. He was allegedly watching pornography on a university computer and masturbating. A warrant request was sent to the prosecutor’s office.
Marijuana complaint
On Aug. 28 at 12:15 a.m., officers investigating a marijuana complaint encountered three students in Lot 61. One subject attempted to flee but was apprehended. Another subject was lodged in the county jail and a warrant request was sent to the prosecutor’s office.
Car accident
On Aug. 23 at 5:15 p.m., there was a report of a two-car accident in Lot 39.
Vehicle damage
On Aug. 24 at 11:40 a.m., there was a report of vehicle damage in Lot 61. The side of the car had scratches from a metal object.
Hit and run
On Aug. 28 at 12:15 p.m., there was a report of a hit and run accident in Lot 54.
Stolen chairs
On Aug. 28 at 11 a.m., nine chairs were reported stolen from the quad near FLITE.
Drunk driver
On Aug. 29 at 2 a.m., officers stopped a vehicle for travelling the wrong way on State St. Further investigation revealed the driver to be intoxicated. The subject was lodged in the county jail.
Two-car crash
On Aug. 23 at 2 p.m., officers assisted the sheriff’s department with a two-car crash at the intersection of Perry Ave. and 215th Ave.
Restricted license
On Aug. 27 at 12:50 a.m., officers stopped a vehicle for defective equipment. The driver was ticketed for driving with a restricted license.
Unlawful entry
On Aug. 24 at 4:45 a.m., there was a report of a disorderly student in Merrill Hall. The intoxicated subject allegedly entered a room that wasn’t his. He was charged with unlawful entry and lodged in the county jail.
Ticket totals: At press time, the Department of Public Safety did not have ticket totals since tickets were not issued until Aug. 28.

On Aug. 25 at 1:45 a.m., officers were called to Bond Cr. in reference to a marijuana complaint. One subject was lodged in the county jail for possession of marijuana. One subject was lodged for the delivery of marijuana. Both students were referred to the Office of Student Conduct.
Intoxicated student
On Aug. 24 at 1:50 a.m., officers assisted Clark Hall staff with an intoxicated student. The subject was ticketed for MIP and referred to the Office of Student Conduct.
Venlo fight
On Aug. 25 at 12:25 a.m., officers assisted the sheriff’s department with a large fight at Venlo Apartments. Four police agencies including Ferris DPS responded.
Hit and run
On Aug. 28 at 12:15 p.m., there was a report of a hit and run accident in Lot 54.
