The tenth annual Day of Love Lock will be held at the Rec Center to raise money for breast and prostate cancer.
You Beautiful Black Woman (YBBW) and Kappa Alpha Psi Inc. will be hosting the event on Oct. 17 from 11p.m until 2a.m. in the Rec Center with the doors closing at 12a.m. The event is free for all students. Over 300 students have attended this event in the past.
Jazmine Goode, YBBW president explained that there will be a lot of activities for students to participate in.
“At the lock in we have basketball games, volleyball games, a DJ, raffles, inflatables, and free food,” Goode said.
According to Goode, past events have been successful and have raised over $500 for breast and prostate cancer.
