Kathryn Stahlheber has been found safe after a missing persons report was filed for her on Friday, Dec. 6.
Director of DPS Bruce Borkovich confirmed that the report has been dropped after the search for Stahlheber ended last night when Ferris DPS officers met with her. The case was a result of miscommunication.
“There wasn’t an incident,” said Borkovich. “[Stahlheber] went away for a few days with a friend and forgot to call her mom.”
Stahlhebers mother, Karen Johnson said that Stahlheber called her last night.
Stahlheber is safe and back in her dorm.
