Unwanted texts

March 4, 4:10 pm, officers spoke with a female at Taggart Hall concerning unwanted text messages from an ex-boyfriend. The suspect was identified and referred to the office of student conduct.

Disorderly subject

March 5, 11:15 pm, officers assisted the city police with a disorderly subject at The Gate on Perry Street.

Marijuana complaint

March 5, 8:30 pm, officers responded to a marijuana complaint at West Campus Apartments. One student was referred to the office of student conduct.

Disorderly subject

March 9, 1:10 pm, officers assisted the city police with a disorderly subject on Michigan Ave.

Suspended license

March 11, 8:25 pm, officers stopped a vehicle on State Street near Knollview Drive for an expired license plate. The driver was ticketed for driving on a suspended license.

Stranded vehicle

March 16, 12:40 am, officers assisted a stranded motorist on campus with a dead battery. That contact resulted in one student being referred to the office of student conduct for the possession of marijuana.

Four with marijuana

March 17,  1:10 am, officers investigated a suspicious vehicle in Lot 4. One male was lodged in the county jail for possession of marijuana, another male was lodged in the county jail for a probation violation and two other males were referred to the office of student conduct for the use of marijuana.

Marijuana complaint

March 17, 12:05 am, officers assisted McNerney Hall staff regarding a marijuana complaint. Two students were referred to the office of student conduct.

March 17, 11:00 pm, officers assisted Miller Hall staff regarding a marijuana complaint. One student was referred to the office of student conduct.

Operating while intoxicated

March 17, 9:25 pm, officers assisted city police with a two-vehicle accident in the McDonald’s parking lot. The suspect vehicle left the area before officers arrived and was subsequently located on campus, where the driver was arrested for operating while intoxicated.

Found marijuana

March 18, 7:15 pm, officers found a jar containing a trace amount of marijuana in Lot 39.

Car accident

March 18, 11:25 am, officers assisted the sheriff’s department with a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Perry Ave and 215th Ave.

Larceny

March 19, 4:30 pm, report of stolen laundry at East Campus Suites.
