College of Pharmacy awards hundreds of scholarships
At a recent pharmacy scholarship reception, more than $650,000 was awarded to 293 students in Ferris’ College of Pharmacy for academic and professional achievement. Four $10,000 scholarships were also awarded from Phil and Jocelyn Hagerman’s recent $5 million donation to the College of Pharmacy.
Students place in building competition
Students in the construction management and architecture programs recently took second place at an Associated School of Construction Region 3 building competition in Illinois. The team featured Ferris students Layna Beer, Nate Demerly, Mark Mirandola, Maycee Robinson, Jason Souvak and Meghann Zmuda and was coached by Suzanne Miller, Chris Cosper and Joe Pacella.
Students to present research
Ferris communication students Gabriella Hagen, Phil Hartley and Joe McClernan will present research colloquiums at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 19 in University Center room 116. The presentations will be moderated by Dr. Sandy Alspach.
