DPS issued 466 traffic and parking violations between Dec. 3 and Dec. 10 totaling $7,700.

A smelly smell
Dec. 1, 5:15 p.m., officers responded to an odor of marijuana complaint at Merrill Hall, but were unable to locate the source of the smell.

Marijuana in a parking lot
Dec. 2, 4:05 p.m., officers investigated a suspicious situation in Lot 61. One subject was ticketed for the possession of marijuana.

Break-in suspect arrested
Dec. 4, 3 p.m., officers assisted the city police with serving an arrest warrant at Buffalo Wild Wings. The subject fled on foot and was later stopped and arrested by Ferris police on campus. The subject had broken into several Oakwood and Venlo apartments around Thanksgiving.

Drunk student
Dec. 5, 2:30 a.m., officers encountered an intoxicated subject near Brophy Hall. The student was referred to the Office of Student Conduct.

Booze cruise
Dec. 5, 2:50 a.m., officers stopped a vehicle on Campus Drive for running a stop sign. The driver of the vehicle was found to be intoxicated and jailed for operating while intoxicating.

Two caught with weed
Dec. 5, 8:20 p.m., officers responded to a marijuana complaint in Clark Hall. Two students were referred to the Office of Student Conduct.

Another booze cruise
Dec. 5, 10:20 p.m., officers stopped a vehicle on State Street for an unreadable license plate. The passenger of the vehicle was ticketed for being a minor in possession and the driver was ticketed for transporting an openly intoxicated subject.

Caught with weed in public
Dec. 6, 8:30 p.m., officers discovered a suspicious vehicle while on patrol in Lot 28. Two students were referred to the Office of Student Conduct for the possession of marijuana.

Domestic complaint
Dec. 7, 9:45 a.m., officers assisted the city police with a domestic complaint on South Michigan Avenue.

Car crash
Dec. 7, 4:10 p.m., officers responded to a two-car accident in Lot 30.

Property dispute
Dec. 7, 7 p.m., officers investigated a harassment complaint in Clark Hall, where ex-roommates had a property dispute. They worked it out.

Stolen lights
Dec. 8, 8 a.m., officers received information about Christmas lights stolen from the south end of campus.

Stolen Playstation
Dec. 8, 4 p.m., officers received report of a stolen Playstation and laptop from Brophy Hall. The investigation continues.

Stolen money
Dec. 9, midnight, officers responded to a theft complaint in McNerny, where a student reported money stolen. The investigation continues.

Online threats
Dec. 9, 12:40 a.m., officers investigated a threat complaint in Puterbaugh Hall, where a student reported someone was making threats online. The investigation continues.

Stinky smell
Dec. 10, 2:30 a.m., officers responded to a marijuana complaint in Merrill Hall. One student was referred to the Office of Student Conduct.

Weed cruise
Dec. 10, 11:40 p.m., officers investigated a suspicious vehicle on 205th Avenue. Two students were referred to the Office of Student Conduct for the possession of marijuana.
