The spirit of giving
Starting on Thursday, Feb. 18, PRSSA is collecting new or gently used winter accessories, such as hats, gloves, mittens, scarves, socks, headbands, etc. Items can be dropped off in IRC 107 on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11-11:50 a.m. All the items will be donated to Angels of Action, which will distribute them to children of Mecosta County.

The ZuZu Acrobats
On Sunday, Feb. 21, The ZuZu Acrobats, whose show blends “circus” acrobatics with popular dance moves and is set to live and taped African music, will be performing at 1 p.m. in Williams Auditorium.

Prehistoric times
On Saturday, Feb. 20, Joseph “Paleo Joe” Kchodl, an award-winning paleontologist, author and storyteller, will visit Ferris with his exhibit featuring key fossils from ancient sea creatures that lived long before the age of dinosaurs. This event will take place at the Card Wildlife Education Center at 11 a.m.

Getting jazzy
On Thursday, Feb. 25, the FSU Jazz Band will host its Winter Concert in Williams Auditorium at 7 p.m. The group will play traditional and contemporary works featuring improvised solos from members of the group.
