March 3, 7:50 p.m., officers investigated a broken door in Henderson Hall.

Fraud at Menards
March 6, 3:25 p.m., officers assisted with a report of retail fraud at Menards. Two suspects were identified and lodged in jail.

Failure to yield
March 7, 11:50 a.m., officers investigated a two-car accident. One person was injured and taken to the hospital and another was ticketed for failure to yield.

Fraud at Walmart
March 12, 10:55 p.m., officers assisted the sheriff department with a retail fraud complaint at Walmart. One suspect was identified and lodged in jail.

Improper plates
March 13, 12:45 a.m., officers stopped a vehicle on State Street for improper plates. The driver was ticketed.

Careless driver
March 15, 11:45 p.m., officers investigated a two-car accident in Lot 54. One driver was ticketed for careless driving.

Damaged vehicle
March 16, 6 p.m., officers investigated a damaged vehicle in Lot 11. There were scratches on the passenger side that had been acquired sometime between March 14 and March 16.

Too loud
March 18, 12:05 a.m., officers assisted housing staff with a loud party in the West Campus Apartments. The party was shut down and the attendees dispersed.

Suspended license
March 18, 12:30 a.m., officers stopped a vehicle for defective equipment. The driver was found to be driving with a suspended license and was ticketed.

Wild night for this guy
March 18, 11:25 a.m., officers investigated a report of a disorderly subject in Lot 16, damaging vehicles as well as assaulting one student. The subject was apprehended and lodged in the county jail.

Breaking up is hard to do
March 19, 12:35 a.m., officers investigated a loud party complaint in the West Campus Apartments. They assisted in breaking up a party.

Mystery smell
March 19, 11:15 p.m., officers responded to a marijuana complaint in Cramer Hall. The source of the odor could not be determined.

Weed in West Campus
March 19, 3:45 p.m., officers assisted the housing staff at West Campus Apartments with a marijuana complaint. The situation was handled by housing.

Fraud in Merrill
March 20, 2:30 p.m., officers investigated a fraud complaint at Merrill Hall for unwanted credit card charges.

You can’t see me
March 21, 5 p.m., officers investigated a report of a disorderly subject in the Optometry Building. The suspect was removed from the premises.

From March 11 to March 24, the Ferris Department of Public Safety issued 579 violations totaling $9,560.
