Feb. 2, 11:50 a.m. officers investigated an altered parking decal in Lot 55. The owner was identified and ticketed.

Smash and dash
Feb. 2, 6 p.m. officers investigated a report of a hit and run accident in Lot 66.

Forgot how to car
Feb. 3, 11:05 p.m. officers stopped a vehicle on South Street for defective equipment. The driver was found to be in possession of a suspended license and was ticketed.

Drunk in the dark
Feb. 3, 11:05 p.m. officers stopped a vehicle on Knollview Drive for not having headlights on. The driver was found to be intoxicated and was lodged in jail for OWI.

Duking it out
Feb. 4, 1:50 a.m. officers responded to a two person fight in the lobby of Merrill-Travis Hall. One left the scene but both individuals were identified and had warrants sent to the prosecutor’s office.

Feb. 4, 2:05 a.m. officers stopped a vehicle on State Street near Fuller Avenue for not having headlights on. The driver was found to be in possession of a suspended license and was ticketed.

Sip-sip pass
Feb. 4, 3 a.m. officers spoke to multiple subjects in a parked vehicle in the McDonald’s parking lot. They were in possession of an open bottle of liquor. One subject was issued an MIP and was referred to the Office of Student Conduct.

Nothing physical
Feb. 4, 4 a.m. officers responded to a report of a domestic disturbance in the East Campus Apartments. Officers contacted the suspect and found it to be a verbal argument with no incidence of physical assault.

Ghosted
Feb. 4, 7:45 p.m. officers responded to a trespassing complaint in Travis Hall. A suspended student was seen in the hall by hall staff. Officers were unable to locate the individual and a warrant was sent to the prosecutor’s office.

Snapped
Feb. 4, 8 p.m. officers investigated an incident of malicious destruction on Travis Circle. A vehicle had its passenger side mirror broken off and the owner suspected her ex-boyfriend.  A warrant was sent to the prosecutor’s office.

Couldn’t hold it
Feb. 6, 12:40 a.m. officers responded to a report of a disorderly subject in Cramer Hall that had urinated in the hallway. The subject was identified, issued an MIP and was ticketed.

Bumper Derby
Feb. 6, 10:10 a.m. officers responded to a two vehicle accident in Lot 37.

They smoked it all
Feb. 6, 8:20 p.m. officers responded to a report of marijuana in McNerney Hall. The suspect was contacted, however no contraband was found and the incident was handled by hall staff.

Green thumb
Feb. 6, 10:15 p.m. officers responded to a marijuana complaint in Merrill Hall. One individual was identified and referred to the Office of Student Conduct.

Bad Samaritan
Feb. 7, 12:15 p.m. officers responded to a report of a fraud. The victim had lost their wallet on campus and while it was returned, one of the cards was used during that time.

The Ferris Department of Public Safety issued 378 tickets between the dates of Feb. 2, and Feb. 8, totaling $6,090.
