The Dawgs defeated West Texas A&M 85-79 to advance to the national championship for the first time in school history.

West Texas A&M senior guard David Chavlovich scored 33 points alone, but his effort wasn’t enough to lift the Buffaloes past the Bulldogs. Senior point guard Drew Cushingberry and junior post Zach Hankins both recorded a double-double for FSU with Cushingberry scoring 16 points and grabbing 10 rebounds while Hankins scored 13 points and notched 11 rebounds.
