Big Rapids Department of Public Safety (BRDPS) is looking for two suspects involved in an armed robbery on Monday, June 5.
The robbery took place in the early morning at a residence on Bronson Street on the east side of Big Rapids. According to Ferris Department of Public Safety (DPS) Director Bruce Borkovich, the robbery has no connection to Ferris.
An emergency alert released by Ferris DPS described the suspects as two black males armed with handguns. A vehicle description is unavailable.
As of 6:30 a.m. June 5, Ferris DPS reported that the suspects were no longer in the area. BRDPS is handling the ongoing investigation with assistance from Ferris DPS as necessary.
