LGBTQ+ Resource Center Coffeehouse

A drop-in Coffeehouse will be held in the LGBTQ+ Resource Center 4 — 6 p.m. on Wednesdays starting Nov. 28. Tea, coffee and light refreshments will be available and the new coordinator, Sarah Doherty will be in attendance as well. Marijuana is Legal — What Now?

Michigan cannabis activists Rick Thompson and Jamie Lowell will be speaking on campus about the process of legalizing marijuana 6 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 28. They will discuss when it will become legal, the details of the legislation and the future of the marijuana industry in Michigan. Five star speaker: David Wheeler

Attend the five star speaker event where David Wheeler will be sharing his story of tragedy when his son, Ben, was killed during the Sandy Hook Elementary shooting Dec. 14, 2012. Wheeler and his wife started Ben’s Lighthouse, an organization for children’s support in Newtown and other communities affected by trauma. Cookie walk
