Saturday, Dec. 8, Ferris football faced the Minnesota State Mavericks in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division II National Semifinals in Mankato, Minnesota. The Bulldogs defeated the Mavericks 42-25, advancing Ferris football to the National Championship for the first time in school history. The Bulldogs will compete against the Valdosta State University Blazers (Valdosta, Georgia) for the Championship title Saturday, Dec. 15, in McKinney, Texas.
