Broke the bank
Feb. 9, 3:30 p.m., a student reported that their credit card was being used fraudulently by an unknown source. The investigation is still open.
What a pleasant surprise
Feb. 12, 4:04 a.m., officers assisted a car that was broken down at State Street and Knollview Drive. When they looked in the car, they discovered the subject was in possession of an assortment of controlled substance pills that were not prescribed to her. The subject also did not have car insurance and her license was suspended. The investigation is still open.
Fake stacks
Feb. 13, 11 a.m., officers were dispatched to Chemical Bank where they had been given a counterfeit $20 that was passed through and deposited by the Quad Café. The bank sent the counterfeit note to secret service.
Hulk smash
Feb. 14, 11:37 a.m., a student’s front window of their car was smashed out in a parking lot in Robin Court. The case is currently closed due to a lack of leads.
Ferris Department of Safety issued 253 tickets from Feb. 10 to Feb. 16, totaling $4,255.
