October, my love

A great piece of art is filled with description. Whether it be a novel and its never-ending backstory of a character who’s in between lives, or a piano ballad telling you exactly what the rhythm of a fight between lovers was like. This poem describes a painter who is creating the world through the looks of a woman and how her beauty should be showcased for everyone in this lifetime to see. Putting a twist on the scope of how the world decides to act in the fall months. Through the leaf change, the perfect drops in temperature before the blizzards takeover, and every breath of scent that finds your nose in Autumn’s blanket.
