My name is Nolan Matthews, I am from Oxford, Michigan and I am a junior majoring in sports communications with minors in history and journalism here at Ferris. I have been in love with sports as far back as I can remember, mainly football and baseball. I picked up writing back in high school to pass the time when I was bored, and over time, I grew to love to write. This opportunity to be able to write for the Ferris State Torch has been an amazing opportunity to help me grow as a writer.
