A round up of this week’s crime across the FSU campus

Vehicle Impound

On Oct. 13 at 1 p.m., a vehicle was impounded from Lot 27 for unpaid parking violations.

Harassment at Williams

On Oct. 12 at 7 p.m., there was a report of a harassment complaint at Williams Auditorium. The complaint involved the performer at the venue. Complaint was worked out with the stage management.

SRC Larceny

On Oct. 13 at 10:30 p.m., there was a report of a larceny complaint at the Student Recreational Center. Items were stolen from an unlocked locker of the men’s locker room.

Disturbing the Peace

On Oct. 12 at 11:50 p.m., officers assisted Residential Life in West Campus Apartments for loud music.

Co-worker Dispute

On Oct. 12 at 11:30 p.m., officers assisted custodial staff at the Starr Building concerning a dispute between co-workers.

No Vehicles Allowed

On Oct. 11 at 6:25 p.m., officers checked the area of the Rock Café in report of a vehicle riding on the lot. A vehicle struck the handrail of Ward Hall. The vehicle was gone when officers arrived.

Injured Animal

On Oct. 12 at 7:10 a.m., there was a report of an injured deer laying on Ferris Drive near State Street. Officers dispatched the animal.

Lost Children

On Oct. 10 at 5:20 p.m., officers were approached by a female at the football field in concern of her two children. Officers located her children at Burger King.

MIP

On Oct. 11 at 1:30 a.m., officers dispatched to Cramer Hall for a noise complaint. While there, they found minors to be Minor s in Possession (MIP).

Venlo Fight

On Oct. 11 at 3:25 a.m., officers assisted Mecosta County Sheriff’s Department with a fight at Venlo. During the fight, they found a subject to be a MIP. The subject was ticketed.

Fire Alarm

On Oct. 9 at 6:55 p.m., there was a report of a fire alarm sounding off in Cramer Hall. Investigation determined that a steam line had been broken which caused the sounding of the alarm.

Breaking and Entering

On Oct. 10 at 2:45 a.m., officers assisted the city police with a Breaking and Entering on Chestnut. Suspect was identified and turned over to the city police.

Female Followed

On Oct. 8 at 11:05 a.m., there was a report of a harassment complaint in the Rock Café. An employee stated that she was followed from work by a male the previous evening.

Holiday Inn Disturbance

On Oct. 9 at 12:15 a.m., officers were sent to the Holiday Inn for a disturbance call. Suspect was identified and lodged in the County Jail for disorderly conduct.

Ticket Totals

From Oct. 8 through the 15 the department of public safety identified 476 violators. Each violator was ticketed for a total of $8,070. Actual amount depends on whether ticket was paid, voided, or reduced.
