The WCHA honored 10 Ferris State hockey members on March 13 in the annual postseason individual awards.
Head coach Bob Daniels was honored as Coach of the Year for the 2013-14 season, leading the Dawgs to a regular season championship in their firs season in the WCHA, and a 25-9-3 overall record.
Junior goaltender CJ Motte was the lone Bulldog named to the All-WCHA first team. Seniors Garrett Thompson and captain Scott Czarnowczan were named to the All-WCHA second team, while junior defensemen Jason Binkley earned All-WCHA third team honors.
Freshmen forward Kyle Schempp made the All-WCHA rookie team as well.
Motte and Czarnowczan were also named to the WCHA All-Academic team along with senior forward Andy Huff, junior forwards Justin Buzzeo and Dom Panetta, as well as sophomore defensemen Zach Dorer and Sean O’Rourke.
