Suit up and tweak your résumé because this week is Career Week at Ferris. Coordinated by the Center for Leadership, Activities and Career Services, Career Week is a series of events to provide information and engagement regarding employment, internships, and graduate school. With the involvement of over 220 major employers, this is set to be the biggest Career Week in Ferris history.
Monday, Oct. 20
Etiquette Dinner in Granger Atrium, 6 p.m. Hosted by the Hospitality Management Program, dining etiquette is taught throughout a five-course meal for $5.
Tuesday, Oct. 21
Graduate School Fair in Williams Auditorium Lobby, 5 p.m. Students can learn about graduate programs at several Michigan universities as well as talk with a financial advisor about payment options.
Wednesday, Oct. 22
Career Fair – Take 1 in Starr 223, 6 p.m. A career fair simulation; experts will prepare students to successfully navigate the Career and Internship Fair.
Thursday, Oct. 23
Career and Internship Fair in Ewigleben Sports Complex, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. 220 employers will be in attendance to meet with students, provide information, and conduct interviews. Professional dress is required and students are encouraged to bring résumés.
Thursday, Oct. 23
Employer Information Sessions in Starr Building, Second Floor, 4 to 9 p.m. Various employers will hold informational sessions about career opportunities with their companies.
